Getting started

1. Open Servers and add the host, SSH port, SSH ID, and password for a server you are authorized to use.
2. Choose Test Connection and confirm the host key on the first connection.
3. Open Workspaces, select the server, and optionally enter an absolute start path such as /home/user/project.
4. Tap Connect. Use Request Input for long or multi-line text and Direct mode for terminal key control.

Connection failed

Verify the hostname, port, SSH ID, password, server firewall, and SSH service. If a saved host key changed unexpectedly, confirm the change with the server administrator before accepting it.

Session ended after app switching or screen lock

Enable “Keep screen awake while connected” when appropriate. iOS and Android can still suspend or terminate background apps to protect battery and memory. Use screen or tmux on the server for work that must continue independently of the phone.

Request sent without executing

Update to the latest ShellConnect version. Request Input sends the composed text followed by the terminal submit sequence. If an interactive program uses a custom key binding, switch to Direct mode and use its expected key.

연결 실패

호스트명, 포트, SSH ID, 비밀번호, 서버 방화벽과 SSH 서비스를 확인하십시오. 저장된 호스트 키가 예기치 않게 변경되었다면 수락하기 전에 서버 관리자에게 변경 여부를 확인하십시오.

앱 전환 또는 화면 잠금 후 세션 종료

필요한 경우 “Keep screen awake while connected”를 활성화하십시오. iOS와 Android는 배터리와 메모리 보호를 위해 백그라운드 앱을 일시 정지하거나 종료할 수 있습니다. 휴대전화와 무관하게 계속되어야 하는 작업은 서버에서 screen 또는 tmux를 사용하십시오.

Request Input 전송 후 실행되지 않음

최신 ShellConnect 버전인지 확인하십시오. Request Input은 작성한 내용 뒤에 터미널 제출 시퀀스를 전송합니다. 대화형 프로그램이 별도 키 바인딩을 사용하면 Direct 모드에서 해당 키를 입력하십시오.
